NEU2082FG is an unmanaged industrial Ethernet switch designed for stable networking in harsh environments such as factories, substations, tunnels, and outdoor control cabinets. It provides 8 10/100Base-TX RJ45 ports for industrial field devices and 2 1G SFP uplink ports for fiber backbone connections, supporting long-distance transmission and improved immunity to electromagnetic interference.

To improve network availability and simplify deployment, NEU2082FG supports one-click HSR seamless redundant ring and one-click VLAN isolation. A built-in DIP switch also supports one-click network storm suppression configuration, helping prevent broadcast storms and maintain stable operation during commissioning and daily production.

Power and installation are designed for industrial sites. NEU2082FG supports redundant DC 12 to 52V input via a removable terminal block and includes reverse polarity protection. The fanless wave-shaped aluminum alloy enclosure improves heat dissipation for continuous operation, while the IP40 rating and DIN-rail mounting support fast installation in control cabinets.

NEU2082FG is specified for wide temperature operation from -40 to 75°C and storage temperature from -40 to 85°C, with 5 to 95% non-condensing humidity. It references industrial EMC and immunity performance including FCC Part 15 Subpart B Class A, EN 55022 Class A, and IEC 61000-4 series items, and it references shock, freefall, and vibration standards for industrial deployments.

Switching performance supports industrial traffic forwarding. NEU2082FG uses store-and-forward switching and provides an 8K MAC address table, a 4 Mbit packet buffer, 26G bandwidth, and switching delay under 10 microseconds, helping deliver stable data forwarding for control and monitoring networks. It is also compatible with common industrial automation protocols including Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET RT, and EtherCAT.

NEU2082FG is compliant with CE, FCC, and RoHS requirements and is backed by a 5-year warranty. It is specified with an MTBF of 300,000 hours, supporting long lifecycle industrial projects.

Typical application topology 1 is a fiber uplink aggregation network in a large plant. The 2 SFP uplinks connect remote cabinets to the core switch over fiber, while the RJ45 ports connect PLCs, HMIs, industrial PCs, gateways, and other edge devices. Typical application topology 2 is a redundant ring along a production line, where multiple switches form a ring for fast recovery and VLAN isolation separates automation traffic from monitoring traffic.
