NEU20100FG Industrial Ethernet Switch 8FE + 2GE Seamless Redundancy Unmanaged

NEU20100FG is an unmanaged industrial Ethernet switch designed for stable connectivity in harsh automation environments. It provides 8x 10/100Base-TX RJ45 ports for field devices and 2x 10/100/1000Base-TX Gigabit RJ45 ports for uplinks, enabling efficient edge aggregation for industrial control networks.

To simplify deployment while improving availability, NEU20100FG supports one-click HSR seamless redundant ring and one-click VLAN isolation. These functions help create resilient ring topologies and segment traffic without complex setup, improving network continuity and reducing broadcast impact in mixed-device industrial networks.

Built for long-term operation, the switch uses a fanless design and a wave-shaped aluminum alloy enclosure for efficient heat dissipation. It supports a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to 75°C and is designed with industrial-grade protection against surge, lightning, electromagnetic interference and vibration, helping reduce downtime in electrically noisy installations.

Power reliability is enhanced through redundant DC 12–52V inputs with reverse polarity protection, supporting typical control cabinet and roadside enclosure power architectures. Store-and-forward switching, low switching delay and an 8K MAC address table help maintain stable forwarding performance for everyday industrial communication loads.

NEU20100FG is compatible with mainstream industrial automation protocols, including Modbus TCP, Profinet RT and EtherCAT, supporting integration with PLC, HMI, gateway and industrial PC systems.

Typical applications include factory production line networks, machine automation cells, industrial control cabinets, and infrastructure monitoring networks. A common topology connects PLCs, HMIs and gateways to the 8 Fast Ethernet ports, while the two Gigabit uplinks connect to an aggregation switch or core network; for high availability, multiple switches can be interconnected using an HSR ring to maintain communication continuity if a single link fails.
