NEU50484TGS Industrial Ethernet Switch, 48GE RJ45 + 4x 1G/10G SFP+ L3 Managed

NEU50484TGS is a rack-mounted L3 managed industrial Ethernet switch designed for aggregation and core-layer networking in industrial environments. It provides high-density access with 48 10/100/1000Base-T RJ45 ports and high-speed backbone connectivity through 4 fiber uplink ports supporting 1G/10GBase-FX via SFP+. This platform is built for industrial convergence where multiple access switches, controllers, and monitoring systems must be aggregated and forwarded reliably to upper-layer networks.

For network resilience, NEU50484TGS supports ERPS ring technology with self-healing time under 50 ms, enabling rapid recovery from single-link failures. It also supports STP, RSTP, and MSTP for flexible redundancy design across different network architectures. These capabilities make it suitable for point-to-point, star, tree, chain, and ring topologies commonly used in industrial backbone and distribution networks.

Layer 3 and switching features help build scalable segmented networks. The switch supports VLAN and advanced VLAN capabilities including 802.1Q VLAN tagging, QinQ, Voice VLAN, MAC VLAN, IP VLAN, and traffic classification. Link aggregation is supported for higher bandwidth utilization and uplink protection. QoS priority, broadcast storm suppression, and port mirroring help maintain service quality and simplify troubleshooting in converged industrial networks.

Multicast control is supported through IGMP v1/v2/v3 and IGMP snooping, helping reduce unnecessary multicast flooding. Security and access control include ACL and 802.1X port-based network access control. Management and maintenance features support Web, CLI, and SNMP with SNMP v1/v2/v3, plus interface status monitoring and log management for operational visibility.

NEU50484TGS is engineered for harsh sites with an IP40 fanless aluminum-alloy enclosure, efficient heat dissipation, and strong surge and EMC protection. It supports dual redundant DC 9–52V power input with reverse polarity protection for higher availability. Performance specifications include 4.8 Tbps backplane bandwidth, 1624 Mpps forwarding rate, and a 64K MAC table to support large-scale aggregation.
