NEU2084FG Industrial SFP Switch – 8 Fast Ethernet Ports + 4x 1G SFP, Seamless Redundant Ring

Compatible with mainstream industrial automation protocols including Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET RT, and EtherCAT for factory and infrastructure networks.

NEU2084FG is an industrial network switch built for reliable Ethernet communication in harsh industrial environments. It features 8 Fast Ethernet 10/100Base-TX RJ45 ports and 4 Gigabit 1G SFP uplink ports, providing flexible copper connectivity for field devices and fiber uplinks for long-distance backbone links.

NEU2084FG supports one-click HSR seamless redundant ring and one-click VLAN isolation for fast configuration of ring topology and traffic segmentation. A DIP switch provides one-click network storm suppression and VLAN isolation to help maintain stable operation and reduce commissioning time.

The switch supports redundant DC 12 to 52V input through a removable terminal block and includes reverse polarity protection. A fanless wave-shaped aluminum alloy enclosure improves heat dissipation, and the IP40 protection level with DIN-rail mounting supports control cabinet installation.

NEU2084FG is designed for wide-temperature operation from -40 to 75°C with non-condensing humidity support from 5 to 95%. It references industrial EMC and immunity tests including FCC Part 15 Subpart B Class A, EN 55032 Class A, and IEC 61000-4 series items, and it references shock, freefall, and vibration standards for industrial field installation reliability.

Switching and protocol compatibility support OT integration. NEU2084FG supports store-and-forward switching, an 8K MAC address table, 4 Mbit packet buffer, 26G bandwidth, and switching delay under 10 microseconds. It is compatible with Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET RT, and EtherCAT to support common automation and monitoring networks.

NEU2084FG is CE, FCC, and RoHS compliant and is backed by a 5-year warranty. The product is specified with an MTBF of 300,000 hours for long lifecycle industrial projects.

Typical application topology includes ring redundancy for production lines and fiber uplink aggregation for large facilities. In ring topology, switches connect workstations in a closed loop for fast recovery. In fiber uplink topology, the SFP ports connect to the core network over fiber while the RJ45 ports connect controllers and edge devices.
