NEU1021F Industrial Ethernet Switch, 2-Port 10/100 RJ45 + 100Base-FX Fiber

NEU1021F is an Industrial Ethernet Switch designed to solve two common challenges in industrial networks: stable edge connectivity for field devices and long-distance uplink transmission between cabinets. With 2 Fast Ethernet RJ45 ports and 1 fiber uplink, it enables local copper connections while extending the backbone over fiber to reduce interference and support longer runs.

In factory automation, NEU1021F is often deployed in a control cabinet to connect PLCs, HMIs, industrial PCs, remote I/O modules, or gateways through the RJ45 downlink ports. The fiber port is used as an uplink to a central cabinet or control room switch, helping isolate electrical noise and improving network reliability. In infrastructure and outdoor cabinet deployments, the fiber uplink helps bridge distances that exceed copper limits and strengthens immunity to EMI.

NEU1021F is suitable for point-to-point fiber extension, star aggregation to a central node, tree-style multi-cabinet distribution, and daisy-chain cabinet-to-cabinet links. It is compatible with mainstream industrial protocols such as Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, Profinet RT, and EtherCAT, supporting mixed-device industrial networks without special adaptation.

Reliability is enhanced through a fanless industrial design with an aluminum housing for efficient heat dissipation. Protective design against surge, lightning, electromagnetic interference, and vibration improves uptime in harsh environments. The device supports wide temperature operation from -40°C to 75°C to meet long-term field deployment requirements.

Power availability is strengthened through redundant DC 9–52V input and reverse polarity protection. Fiber connector options can be selected as SC, FC, ST, or SFP to align with different engineering standards. NEU1021F includes a 5-year warranty and is CE, FCC, RoHS certified.
