NEU1050F Industrial Ethernet DIN-Rail Unmanaged Switch, 4xFE + 1x100FX

NEU1050F is a 5-port unmanaged industrial Ethernet switch designed for stable and low-maintenance connectivity in industrial automation networks. It provides four 10/100Base-TX RJ45 downlink ports for field devices and one 10/100Base-FX fiber uplink for longer distance transmission and improved immunity to electromagnetic interference. The switch is well suited for point-to-point links, star networks, tree networks, and daisy-chain network structures commonly used in industrial sites.

Built with a high-performance switching engine, NEU1050F delivers fast forwarding and reliable data transmission for control and monitoring traffic. It supports automatic detection on RJ45 ports, full/half duplex operation, and MDI/MDI-X auto adaptation, helping simplify installation and reduce configuration time. The device is compatible with common industrial automation Ethernet protocols, including Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, Profinet RT and EtherCAT, making it suitable for PLC, HMI, SCADA and industrial gateway connectivity.

For harsh environments, NEU1050F adopts a rugged, fanless metal design with an efficient heat-dissipation structure and IP40 protection. It is designed with anti-surge, anti-lightning, anti-electromagnetic interference and anti-vibration capabilities to support stable operation in demanding industrial conditions. The wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 75°C supports long-term deployment in control cabinets, outdoor enclosures and factory floors.

Power input is designed for industrial reliability. The switch supports redundant DC 9–52V wide-voltage input and reverse connection protection to reduce downtime caused by power instability or wiring errors. This design fits typical 12V/24V/48V industrial power systems and helps maintain continuous network operation.

Typical applications include production line automation, machine-to-machine connectivity, PLC-to-HMI communication, industrial data acquisition, and edge aggregation to a fiber backbone. The recommended topologies include star connections from a cabinet switch to multiple controllers, tree networks across workshops, and daisy-chain connections for distributed equipment where simple unmanaged networking is preferred.
