NEU1050G-M12 Industrial Network Switch 5-Port M12 Gigabit Unmanaged

NEU1050G-M12 is a rugged 5-port Gigabit industrial Ethernet switch designed for railway and transportation networks. It supports 1 uplink and 4 downlink Gigabit ports using secure M12 connections for vibration-prone environments. The switch is unmanaged for simple plug-and-play deployment in rolling stock and wayside cabinets. Dual redundant DC power input (9–52VDC) improves system uptime and supports reverse connection protection. Fanless aluminum-alloy housing enhances heat dissipation and long-term stability. It operates from -40 to 75°C for harsh field conditions. Typical use cases include onboard CCTV backbones, passenger information systems, and trackside monitoring networks.

NEU1050G-M12 is a rugged industrial Ethernet switch developed for railway networking where vibration resistance, high EMC performance, and stable connectivity are required. It is designed for rolling stock and wayside deployments and supports reliable data transmission in harsh industrial environments. The switch provides a 5-port Gigabit architecture with 1 uplink and 4 downlink ports, enabling efficient device aggregation in compact cabinets.

The M12 connector system improves connection solidity and sealing performance for transportation applications, helping reduce failures caused by loosening or vibration. As an unmanaged switch, NEU1050G-M12 is easy to deploy and maintain, making it suitable for large-scale projects that require fast installation and consistent performance. Store-and-forward switching supports stable forwarding for monitoring and control traffic.

For power design, NEU1050G-M12 supports dual redundant 9–52VDC inputs and reverse connection protection to enhance system availability. The fanless aluminum-alloy enclosure improves heat dissipation and long-term operational stability. Wide-temperature operation from -40 to 75°C supports demanding onboard and outdoor installations.

Typical applications include onboard CCTV networks, passenger information systems, train-borne monitoring devices, and trackside equipment cabinets. A common topology is a star or chain layout where cameras, sensors, and onboard terminals connect to the downlink ports, while the uplink connects to an onboard gateway, NVR, or aggregation switch that forwards data to the backbone network. It also supports point-to-point and tree structures for flexible industrial Ethernet expansion.

NEU1050G-M12 includes a 5-year warranty and is CE, FCC, RoHS certified. Datasheet and technical documentation are available to support evaluation, system design, and project deployment.
