NEU1050FP-M12 Industrial Ethernet Switch 4 PoE Ports M12 100M

NEU1050FP-M12 is a rugged industrial Ethernet switch with integrated PoE, engineered for railway and transportation applications requiring high EMC performance and reliable connectivity. It is designed for rolling stock and wayside installations and supports stable networking in harsh industrial environments. The switch provides a practical 5-port Fast Ethernet layout with 1×10/100Base-TX uplink and 4×10/100Base-TX downlink ports.

Ports 1–4 support PoE and comply with IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at, enabling a single-cable solution for power and data. This simplifies installation for IP cameras, wireless access points, and monitoring devices in train cars and trackside cabinets. The M12 connector design improves sealing, connection solidity, and resistance to vibration compared with standard connectors, helping reduce maintenance issues in demanding deployments.

NEU1050FP-M12 supports common industrial network topologies including point-to-point, star, tree, and chain structures. A typical deployment uses a star topology inside a vehicle cabinet where cameras connect to the four PoE downlink ports, while the uplink connects to an onboard NVR, gateway, or aggregation switch. For wayside applications, field devices connect to PoE ports and the uplink connects to an upstream aggregation node inside the roadside cabinet.

The fanless aluminum-alloy enclosure supports efficient heat dissipation and stable long-term operation. Dual redundant 48–58VDC power input with protection features helps improve availability in mission-critical systems. The switch operates from -40 to 75°C to match extreme environmental requirements.
