LAN1011GM Industrial Ethernet Switch, 1x RJ45 + 1x 1G SFP Mini Gigabit Media Converter

LAN1011GM is a compact mini Gigabit media converter designed to extend industrial Ethernet networks over optical fiber. It converts a 1000M RJ45 copper connection to a 1G SFP fiber link, making it easy to upgrade existing networks without changing core equipment. With auto-negotiation and automatic half and full duplex compatibility, it reduces configuration work during deployment. Automatic twisted-pair crossover further simplifies installation and troubleshooting in the field.

The converter is built with an efficient switching core that supports flow control and helps reduce unnecessary broadcast packets, improving transmission stability. Store-and-forward processing and line-speed forwarding deliver reliable performance with ultra-low transmission delay. Jumbo frames up to 9216 bytes support smoother transport of large packets commonly seen in video and data backhaul.

LAN1011GM supports standard SFP optical modules, allowing flexible distance selection based on the installed transceiver. Typical optical options include multimode 850 or 1310 nm for short links and single-mode 1310, 1490, or 1550 nm for longer links, enabling transmission from short connections up to long-distance fiber runs depending on the module. This flexibility makes the device suitable for cross-building links, cabinet-to-cabinet connections, and remote camera or sensor backhaul.

Typical applications include connecting an industrial Ethernet switch to a remote fiber segment, extending an industrial network backbone from a control room to field cabinets, and upgrading a copper uplink to fiber for improved distance and interference resistance. The compact size supports desktop use or cabinet installation where space is limited.
