NEU2050GBS Industrial Ethernet Switch, 5-Port Gigabit Unmanaged

NEU2050GBS is a 5-port gigabit industrial Ethernet switch built for fast, reliable copper networking at the industrial edge. It provides one dedicated 10/100/1000Base-TX uplink port plus four 10/100/1000Base-TX downlink ports, enabling clean device grouping in automation cabinets and machine control enclosures. The unmanaged design supports plug-and-play operation, which shortens commissioning time for integrators and OEMs.

For industrial reliability, NEU2050GBS uses a fanless aluminum-alloy enclosure with IP40 protection for stable heat dissipation and long service life. Redundant DC 9–52V power input with reverse polarity protection helps maintain network availability under unstable power conditions. The switch is designed to operate continuously from -40°C to 75°C, supporting both indoor industrial cabinets and challenging field deployments.

To improve onsite stability, a simple DIP-switch interface enables one-touch storm suppression and PI. This helps reduce unnecessary broadcast traffic and provides a practical way to harden small industrial networks during startup and maintenance. Store-and-forward switching supports dependable forwarding behavior for mixed traffic from monitoring, control, and data acquisition devices.

NEU2050GBS is commonly used to connect PLCs, HMIs, industrial PCs, remote I/O, gateways, and sensors within compact industrial networks. It supports typical industrial network architectures such as star topology in control cabinets, line topology along production lines, tree topology for multi-area distribution, and chain connections for skid-mounted equipment.
