NEU2080GBS Industrial Ethernet Switch 8-Port Gigabit Unmanaged

NEU2080GBS is an 8-port Gigabit industrial Ethernet switch developed for industrial automation and utility communication networks. It provides eight 10/100/1000Base‑TX RJ45 ports to connect PLCs, HMIs, industrial PCs, drives, gateways, and edge devices with stable, low-latency switching. Designed for point-to-point, star, tree, and line (daisy-chain) networks, it helps build reliable Ethernet connectivity in control cabinets and on automation equipment.

Key features are built around real industrial deployment needs. The fanless, wave-shaped aluminum enclosure improves heat dissipation for long-term operation and offers IP40 protection for cabinet installation. NEU2080GBS supports redundant DC 9–52V wide-voltage power input and reverse polarity protection to improve uptime in unstable power environments. For fast onsite commissioning, DIP switches provide one-click storm suppression and one-click PI, helping reduce broadcast storm impact and simplify commissioning tasks for maintenance teams.

NEU2080GBS uses a store-and-forward switching method and supports full/half duplex with automatic MDI/MDI-X adaptation on RJ45 ports. It is compatible with mainstream industrial automation protocols, including Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, Profinet RT (SeriaNet), and EtherCAT (SeriaNet), making it suitable for common machine networks and industrial Ethernet architectures. The switch is designed with anti-surge, anti-lightning, anti-electromagnetic interference, and anti-vibration capabilities to support harsh industrial sites.

Typical applications include factory automation lines, packaging and material handling systems, process control cabinets, building and energy monitoring, and industrial data acquisition networks. Common topologies include a star network from a central cabinet switch to multiple machines, a line topology along conveyors or production lines, and a tree topology across workshop zones.
